If you just look at Maggie’s weblog, you can clearly see why she is a river junkie. She is one of those people who, although she was a full-time job and other commitments, gets out on the river as often as she can, and fires it up wherever she goes. Her latest adventure to start 2007 was a successful descent of the Upper Blackwater River in West Virginia.
She is able to share her adventures in a way that makes the rest of us jealous, coupled with amazing photos, is just one of the many reasons she is here on the River Junkies Team!

I've always loved water and nature. There's nothing better than a beautiful summer day on a gorgeous river. Kayaking takes you to places that are unaccessible to the average person. The time spent out there is precious...and best spent with good friends. Paddling seems to be an ongoing quest to find more of both.
