Thinking about planning a trip to the Ottawa River? Hopefully this page will provide all the information you will need in order to make your vacation the best one ever!
A few pointers:
- Most resorts on the Ottawa River offer camping/meal/river shuttle packages along with shuttle from the Ottawa Airport, but you should confirm in advance.
- If you are flying to Ottawa, things become 100% more manageable if you rent a vehicle once you arrive. Less worry about getting there and running shuttle.
- The local boater board, Boatwerks.net is one of the best ways to network for paddling buddies and shuttle help.
- If you opt to take the bus to Cobden, then you will have to arrange for someone to come and bring you to the river, as there is no taxi/bus/shuttle service from this point.
